Wtransnet experiences an international transport increase in the freight exchange

At the beginning of Christmas campaign, a moment when road transport goods lives one of the strongest peak workload of the year, it’s time for taking stock of the activity carried out by freight exchange in 2016.

During this year, Wtransnet has surpassed 11.000 partners and 31.200 daily offers, that few weeks away from the end of the year, implies a 25% more than 2015. Likewise, until October, 1.590 new companies have been registered; among them a 36% are international.

Transport flows in freight exchange

According to the international increasing Wtransnet bet during this year, we see an upward trend in transport in European countries. If we pay attention to the goods with departure and arrival in Europe flows, we find out a global increasing of loads of 7,09%, being very meaningful, around a 50%, during August and September. Likewise, trucks offer has increased a 48,18%  to cover these routes, making  Wtransnet a meeting point among transport companies loaders and transport suppliers for the rest of Europe.

It is important to underline that during this year an increase of  export loads from Europe to south countries (especially Spain and Portugal) has happened in a  5.81%, as well as the available trucks offer for the same route (20%). Another point to take into account is the increasing of trucks offered to cover international routes from Spain and Portugal to the rest of Europe, which kept high levels until  the August stop, being the interannual increase of 44.85%.

 

Italy is still growing up in Wtransnet

Special mention deserves the growing up  experienced in Italy, especially in the national market, with an increasing of  50,75% of loads offers with departure and arrival in Italy and a record increasing, of  234,56%, of vehicles offer. At the same time offers for export of loads as well as trucks (14%) are increasing, while loads import offers are steady, increasing however the return trucks offer for Italy in a 79%.
