After its consolidation as the leading Exchange in Spain and Portugal, Wtransnet starts its objectives in the Italian market.
Wtransnet, the Freight Exchange with 17 years of experience offering solutions for the transport businesses, has marked as a strategic objective 2014 the Italian market. It has announced the opening of one office in Milan extending its presence in the country and by doing so, reinforcing also its international structure.
After having been established as the leading Freight Exchange in the Iberian Peninsula, it is not a coincidence that Italy becomes the leader of its International expansion in Europe. If Wtransnet bets for the Italian market it is due to the similarity with the Spanish market. Both have a similar business structure dominating the small and middle sized companies and also with the same difficulties: high level of outstanding payments and long payment terms compared to the European average.
Wtransnet was born to meet the demand posed by Spanish companies on the need for a meeting point for working with security and trust. Renouncing the volume, from the beginning, Wtransnet has worked according to very strict quality standards with the aim of having a reliable community where its members can generate contracts.
The same security requirement takes place in Italy. With the backing of its experience in the Spanish market, Wtransnet faces this new stage convinced of being able to respond not only to the Italian market but also the demand of European customers. Currently, we have 1700 European companies searching reliable contacts in Italy.
Wtransnet is present in 23 countries in Europe and Latin America and with over 9500 associated companies has become the Freight Exchange leader in security.
